God's Plan for Victory.

In today's sermon we learn about the 5 steps to victory.

1. Listen to the word of the Lord.

2. Learn the will of the Lord.

3. Love the way of the Lord.

4. Live the wishes of the Lord.

5. Look for the victory of the Lord.

"And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour."

Joshua 6:2

You are eternally sealed through Jesus Christ.

No condemnation should be the most beautiful words you have ever heard. If you are a child of God, you are free. There is no condemnation. In today's sermon, we learn about living in the spirit, which means allowing the spirit of God to live through you. God does not judge us, he has compassion for us.

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Romans 8:1

If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.

Do you belong to Christ? This is the most important question you'll ever need to answer. You are either with  Christ or you are not with Christ. There is no in between. If you belong to him, the spirit is in you.

"As he spake these words, many believed on him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

The Sufficiency of God's Grace

Grace is the power of God that meets all of our needs. God sent us grace because of the love he has for each and everyone of us. In today's sermon, we learn why grace is the foundation of Christianity and how God's grace is always there for us.

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

2 Corinthians 12:9

It is impossible to get the last thing before the first. You can not lunge towards the Lord unless the stairway is built. You can not love man the way you should, unless you love the Lord first. The love of God should be the priority in your life.

"And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God."

Philippians 1: 9-11

This is the day the Lord has made. I will be glad and rejoice! Eyes up on the Lord and press on, it won't be very long! Praying for each one of you and hope you have a blessed week.

"These things have I spoken unto you. That in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world"

John 16:33

May 27th 2018

Listen and watch our service from Sunday May 27th. Pastor Cook asks the question, "Do you have a permanent place for the Lord in your heart?"

"Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions: How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob; Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed; I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids, Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob."

Psalm 132

"The entrance of Thy words giveth light"
Psalm 119:130
